CLW Corporate Office Team

The Corporate Office supports all CLW locations operationally, financially, in all personnel matters, such as, in hiring, onboarding, training, and retaining staff.  Further, the Corporate Office team is easily accessible to all staff who may need assistance, have questions/concerns, require guidance and more.

Caren A. Painter

President
Caren has been the President of CLW since 2009. Caren gradated in 1996 from Kent State University with bachelor's in psychology and a business minor.

Professionally, Caren began in the field of DD right out of college, working as a DSP/Floor Supervisor in a large behavioral ICF. She has remained in the field for the last 29 years, holding various positions from direct care, Floor Supervisor, and QIDP. She also spent 7 years as an SSA specializing in wraparound, which is an intense program that works with the highest risk children and their families.

When Caren began her career at CLW the company had 6 locations. Since then, she has helped guide the growth of the company and also developed Abili-tees in 2014, which incorporates the individual’s creativity and work skills to design the line of shirts. The clothing line was in several local boutiques, and featured on Zulily. The goal of Abili-tees is to mainstream and employ a staff of our individuals in every aspect of the business.

Caren is described as being knowledgeable about this industry and has made coming to work enjoyable for her co-workers. She is a very employee-focused leader who cares about the staff and how they feel. Caren takes a lot of pride in the operations of all CLW locations and how each location is serving our individuals, as well as staff experience at each location. She is open to feedback, takes individual ideas, and is understanding and accommodating as long as she knows you are doing your job!

Caren maintains an open-door policy at the Corporate Office, and takes time to listen, evaluate the situation and respond to any issue that's brought to her attention.

Celina M. Williams

Human Resources Director
Celina was born and raised in the Steubenville, OH, area.  Relocating to Youngstown, OH, in 1999 she attended Youngstown State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001.

Following graduation Celina relocated to New Mexico with her family while her husband served in the United States Air Force.  While in New Mexico, Celina continued her education and obtained her Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy State University.  While living in New Mexico she obtained her first experiences in Human Resources while working at the High Energy Laser Systems Test Facility, HELSTF, at White Sands, New Mexico.  After moving back to Ohio in 2004, Celina began working for other large organizations in a management capacity in the field of Human Resources.

Celina began her career at CLW in 2017 and brings with her over 20 years of HR experience.  She supports all CLW locations in personnel matters including, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, retention, employee discipline, investigations, employment law, and payroll/benefits.  She loves meeting and interacting with CLW staff and clients and works to ensure a fun, fair, and family-friendly environment for all.

Celina also oversees CLW IT operations with the assistance of the Company IT vendor, Avrem Technologies, among other duties. 

Samantha McGinnis

Director of Nursing & Quality Improvement
Sam began her career at CLW in 2013 as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  She was an integral part of the team providing over 10 years of direct care and nursing services to CLW clients.

In 2018, Sam was promoted to Director of Nursing (DON) and began providing guidance and oversight for the nursing services at all CLW locations.  It was around this time that Sam was promoted once again and took on the additional responsibility of Administrator duties for one of the CLW locations, while maintaining her role as the DON.

Finally, in 2023, Sam was again promoted to take on the quality initiatives of the company.  Her role was modified so that she could work in quality improvement while maintaining her role as DON and providing all nursing oversight for the Company.

Sam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management at Ohio University in 2022 after obtaining an Associates of Applied Business Office Administration Technology in 2019.  She is a vital member of the CLW team!

Erin Watkins

Office Manager
Erin Watkins has been an essential part of CLW since 2014, starting as Bookkeeper before advancing to Office Manager in November 2021.  With 18 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll, Erin brings a deep understanding of financial management and operational efficiency to the team.  Her meticulous attention to detail and friendly approach makes her a go-to resource for all things financial.  Erin enjoys assisting all CLW locations with any accounting, payroll or office account needs.  Erin is dedicated to collaborating a positive and productive workplace.

Passionate about numeracy and organization, Erin believes that a well-structured bookkeeping and payroll system is the foundation of a stable and successful business.  Her dedication to expanding her accounting and payroll expertise ensures that the company operates with precision and reliability.  Committed to accuracy and efficiency, Erin plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting CLW's growth.

When Erin's not crunching numbers or streamlining a process, you can find her sharing a laugh with her colleagues, proving that a little humor goes a long way in the workplace.

Stephanie Lichty

Payroll Specialist
Stephanie began her career with CLW in 2024.  She holds an Associate of Accounting Technology degree from Kent State University, which she attained in 2015. Following her collegiate studies, she gained professional experience as a bookkeeper and tax preparer.

In addition, Stephanie spent several years in the e-commerce industry, where she played a key role in developing a successful online jewelry company.

Stephanie has played a crucial role at the Corporate Office as the main payroll processor, IT contact, and transportation contact for the company.
 

Jessica Abdelwahed

Administrative Assistant
Jessica was born and raised in Pennsylvania where she still lives today. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree In Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management in 2004.

Prior to starting her career at CLW in 2019, Jessica worked in several management positions with Hilton Brand Hotels, relocating for work purposes, from Dayton, Ohio to Boston, Massachusetts.

Jessica also worked in a medical office for an Orthopedic Surgeon and Outpatient Therapy prior to joining CLW.

Jessica is an integral part of the CLW team as the main billing contact and processor.  She also supports the Corporate Office administratively for payroll, human resources, and more.  She is also the friendly voice you will encounter whenever you call us!
