CLW community integration helps people build connections, develop skills, and participate in their communities based on their individual interests and goals. Through meaningful experiences in everyday community settings, participants have the opportunities to explore new interests, build relationships, and increase independence.

Community integration opportunities may include:

Community Activities: Participants explore local places, events, and activities based on their interests while building connections and becoming more involved in their communities.

Skill Development: Everyday community experiences provide opportunities to strengthen communication, social skills, self-advocacy, decision-making, and independence.

Volunteer Opportunities: Participants can explore volunteer experiences that match their interests, contribute to their communities, build skills, and develop a greater sense of purpose.
