Congratulations to DiAnn Winchel, our April 2026 Employee of the Month!

Diann Winchel has gone above and beyond during an exceptionally demanding year. She took on full responsibility for the Community Employment Department while continuing to lead Vocational, ensuring both teams remained successful despite major transitions. Even after losing her long‑time support staff, she maintained a positive attitude, encouraged her team, and upheld high standards of service. Diann leads with kindness, optimism, and determination, consistently motivating others and strengthening both departments. Her dedication and grace make her an outstanding choice for Employee of the Month.

Diann has played a critical role in the success of both the Community Employment and Vocational departments. By taking on an entire additional department during a year of major transitions, she ensured continuity, stability, and growth across both areas. Her leadership has strengthened team morale, improved collaboration, and kept staff motivated through challenging changes. Diann’s ability to manage increased responsibilities while maintaining high performance standards has directly contributed to the company’s overall success. Her optimism, professionalism, and commitment to her teams have created a positive environment that supports strong outcomes for employees and the individuals they serve.

A standout example of Diann’s exemplary performance is the way she seamlessly took on full responsibility for the Community Employment Department while continuing to lead the Vocational Department. She reorganized workflows, redistributed tasks, and provided direct support to her staff to ensure both departments continued to run smoothly. Even with a significantly increased workload, she maintained a positive, encouraging presence and stepped in wherever needed to keep services consistent. Her ability to stabilize and strengthen two departments during a major transition is a clear demonstration of her exceptional leadership and dedication.

The judges would like to point out that this is not the first time that DiAnn has been nominated.
